At GOT BAG, we don’t just make bags – we protect our oceans. Every year, an estimated 11 million metric tons (over 24 billion pounds) of plastic waste enters our oceans, adding to the 200 million tons already polluting marine ecosystems. We knew that talking about the problem wasn’t enough we had to be part of the solution.

That’s why we created the world’s first backpacks made from recycled Ocean Impact Plastic, collected through our own cleanup program in Indonesia. To date, we’ve removed over 3 million pounds of plastic from coastal environments, working directly with local cleanup crews to intercept waste before it reaches the open ocean. But this is just the beginning.
